The 14th Global Conference of The Freight Summit, held in conjunction with NorthStar, the exclusive FCL Forwarders Alliance, and Emerge, the African Logistics Alliance, proved to be a resounding success, drawing the participation of over 400 freight forwarders from various corners of the world.

The event marked a remarkable gathering where our esteemed partners came together in person, bringing forth a multitude of promising opportunities for all attendees. Undoubtedly, it was an event that will be remembered and cherished for years to come!

To kick-start the conference, we extended a warm welcome to delegates hailing from diverse corners of the globe at a delightful cocktail reception on the evening of August 22. We express our sincere gratitude to all attendees for their unwavering support and active participation, and for adding a colorful touch to the gathering by donning their finest "National Attire" outfits.

The event created a truly exceptional atmosphere, allowing everyone to not only reconnect with familiar faces but also forge new and meaningful connections. In addition to the vibrant attire, the evening was further enriched by the inclusion of a traditional Turkish dance, which added an extra layer of cultural immersion and fun to the festivities. It was a memorable occasion that fostered camaraderie and networking opportunities for all in attendance.

One of the primary highlights of our annual partnership meetings revolves around our 'Face-to-Face Meetings.' During these sessions, our valued TFS Partners had the chance to engage with hundreds of fellow freight forwarders associated with NorthStar and Emerge.

This unique opportunity enabled over 400 freight forwarders hailing from various corners of the globe to come together, connect, and collaboratively explore business prospects. It truly was a day filled with fruitful interactions and promising opportunities for all involved.

The delegates had the privilege of embarking on a quintessential Istanbul experience – an enchanting cruise along the majestic Bosphorus Strait. This 3-hour excursion offered attendees the opportunity to bask in the breathtaking nocturnal vistas of the city.

During the cruise, a sumptuous buffet dinner was served, accompanied by a plentiful selection of beverages to round off the evening.

The night was an absolute delight! Everyone relished the cruise, with a fantastic soundtrack played by the DJ - our very own Director & Co-Founder, Christian Raeuber. Additionally, a live band delivered an outstanding performance, complemented by mesmerizing belly dancing, ensuring that the night was truly unforgettable.

On the fourth day of the conference, our delegates pressed on with their meetings and continued to foster valuable partnerships with their esteemed colleagues in the freight community.

To cap off this outstanding conference, we hosted a memorable closing party, providing our delegates with a well-deserved opportunity to relax and solidify the new friendships they had formed throughout the event.
