The 15th Global Conference of The Freight Summit, in collaboration with the Emerge Freight Alliance and the African Logistics Network, was a resounding success, attracting over 250 freight forwarders from around the world and representatives from various industry networks.

This exceptional gathering allowed esteemed partners to connect in person, creating promising opportunities for all attendees. It was truly a memorable event that will be cherished for years to come.

In the afternoon, the conference kicked off with a dynamic opening session. Nils Walle, Director and Co-Founder of TFS discussed its history and the networks under the RW Umbrella. This was followed by a presentation from TFS Diamond Sponsor - Carlos Marin, CEO of NEX3PL LLC from the United States. Melvin Xavier, Director and Co-Founder of Emerge Freight Alliance, then provided network updates.

The Newbie Open Mic session allowed new Emerge members and TFS attendees to introduce themselves and their companies, fostering camaraderie among participants. Following this, we had the insightful Keynote Presentation by Phil Bedford, which added great value to the event with his expert insights and engaging delivery.

The opening ceremony concluded with a panel discussion moderated by Melvin Xavier, featuring Carlos Marin (CEO of NEX3PL, United States), Francesca Gianesini (Export Sales Manager of Gianesini Erminio Srl, Italy), Lorraine Thomas Harris (CEO of LTN Logistics International Co. Ltd., Jamaica), and Antonio Duran (Managing Director of Smart Logistics, Spain). They explored the theme "Finding Competitiveness in Today's Forwarding Market."

The conference began impressively, blending business insights, industry expertise, and networking opportunities.

A key highlight of our annual partnership meetings is the 'Face-to-Face Meetings.' During these sessions, TFS Partners engaged with hundreds of freight forwarders from Emerge and various networks, including Combined Logistics Networks (CLN), Neptune Cargo Network (NVOCC, LCL Consolidation), NorthStar Forwarders Alliance (FCL), Global Aircargo Alliance (Airfreight Forwarders), Life Logistics (Pharma Forwarders Network), Cold Chain Connect (Perishable Freight Network), LATAM Forwarders Club (Latin American Network), Magenta Logistics Network (Women's Forwarding Association), X2 Logistics Networks (comprising seven specialized groups), G7N Logistics Networks (a fresh network of independent freight forwarders), and WIFFA (World International Freight Forwarders Alliance in China).

On Conference Day 2, our delegates transitioned from a day of productive meetings to a sunlit adventure cruising the Marina in Dubai, thanks to the generous sponsorship of X2 Logistics. The breathtaking views and relaxed atmosphere set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The stage came alive with incredible performances and vibrant music, filling the air with a contagious energy that inspired everyone to dance the night away and enjoy each other's company. On the third day of the conference, attendees enjoyed a memorable desert safari and BBQ sponsored by Stafflink.
