Post-Event Summary
September 28 – October 1, 2021
TFS Privé Edition was held on September 28 – October 1, 2021, at the Grand Hyatt Dubai. It was indeed a ‘fruitful’ event attended by 100+ freight professionals worldwide.
We broke the ice as we gathered our delegates at our Welcome Cocktail Reception held on September 28, 2021, at the Andiamo Restaurant in the Grand Hyatt Dubai. It was an important evening as our members had the opportunity to meet each other again after 2 years.
The second day of the conference started with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by our Director, Mr. Nils Walle - together with our official event sponsors: Mr. Ali Ghaffar of Logitude World, Mr. Mirshad Moopan of MRC Shipping & Logistics LLC, Ms. Rochelle Triguero of Logistics Outsourcing, and Mr. Carlos Marin of NEX3PL LLC.
After the ribbon-cutting, Mr. Nils Walle welcomed the members with his opening remarks and shared information about the leading open digital community for freight forwarders - The Freight Summit and its latest developments. He was then followed by our Gold Sponsors, Mr. Mathew Chacko from MRC Shipping & Logistics LLC, and Mr. Ali Ghaffar from Logitude World who presented their companies to the group.
Our Meeting Scheduler Sponsor, Ms. Rochelle Triguero of Logistics Outsourcing also delivered her keynote address entitled: How can Artificial Intelligence Help Freight Forwarders?
In the afternoon, the delegates gathered together for the first wave of face-to-face meetings.
On the third day of the conference, the delegates took a break from the meetings and went around the red sands and dunes of Lahbab Desert before the sun set and experience one of Dubai’s most adventurous activities – Dune Bashing.
Afterwards, the delegates savored a buffet dinner of authentic Arabic cuisine at the desert camp and watch traditional Arabic entertainments, such as a belly dancing and tanoura dance.
The delegates proceeded to their face-to-face meetings for the rest of the day.
Cheers to a successful conference! After three days of networking, we had our closing party at the Al Ameera Ballroom Foyer where the delegates shook a leg, took time to unwind, and cement their newfound friendships.
We can’t end the homecoming just yet, with 12-year successful open networking event, we gave them another memorable night as we head towards our sunset cocktail sponsored by Calenberg Overseas Logistics GmbH & Co. Kg. We served fresh cold cocktails blended with our DJ Mixes and Smooth Jazz-Rock performance at the high-level open ground of the hotel.
